Celebrating the Vedic Tradition of Knowledge

The most important day of the Vedic calendar, Guru Purnima, is on 5 July. It is the day of the teacher, and is celebrated by giving thanks to those who have imparted knowledge to us. Governors, Sidhas, and Meditators in Maharishi’s worldwide family take this opportunity to come together to celebrate the occasion.

Traditionally, a whole programme of events takes place at MERU for the Global Summer Assembly, culminating in celebrations on 5 July, Guru Purnima Day. This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are determining the best format so that we are still able to celebrate this occasion, even if we can’t physically be together.

We look forward to be able to offer gratitude to Guru Dev and the Vedic Tradition of Masters.
